About the Owner

Hi, I’m Kal — the owner and host of RUCK HAÜS. After raising kids here, I transformed this well-loved home into a retreat where families and friends can relax, play, and reconnect. When I’m not hosting, Ü might find me writing, traveling with my honey, yucking it up with loved ones, or out on a nearby trail.

Settle into one of five uniquely themed bedrooms, each celebrating play. The Ruck Room is a king suite inspired by Rucker Park, NYC, with ¾ bath, TV, and walk‑in closet. Slope Space is a queen retreat honoring Colorado’s winter playgrounds. Dino Den offers two twin beds in a playful room celebrating Colorado’s dinosaur history. Nugget Nook features a queen bed with décor nodding to Denver basketball and the area’s gold‑rush roots. Canyon Cave is a queen basement suite inspired by Eldorado Canyon, complete with ¾ bath, TV, coffee station, and workout area. All bedrooms include fresh linens, pillows, air purifiers, and closets with built‑in shelves and luggage racks. Upstairs rooms also feature ceiling fans and humidifiers for year‑round comfort.
